It started with a test report, not with a machine

Cal Inc. was founded in Shanghai in 2014. The first thing we did was not to sell equipment but to test — we found that most people had no idea what their own air and water were actually like, while the industry had grown used to handing over a job with nothing more than “don’t worry, it’s fine”.

So testing went first: measure, then design, then build, and finally accept the job against data. It is the slower road, but we are still on it today — and it is the part of Cal Inc. hardest to copy.

Today our work covers HVAC engineering, fresh air purification, air purification, space scenting and water purification. We have served more than 4,000 homes and businesses, with over 1 M m² of completed floor area.

Cal Inc. was founded in Shanghai with registered capital of RMB 11.88 million, starting with indoor air testing.

From air to water

HVAC engineering, fresh air purification and water purification joined our service lines, widening our scope from single-point treatment to the whole-home environment.
2019

Locking in the delivery standard

Survey, design, construction, testing and maintenance were fixed into a repeatable delivery chain — the same standard whoever runs it.
2021

Experience centres open — see the result first

Experience centres opened in Pudong and Puxi, where clients can watch live monitoring data before deciding.
2023

A service network takes shape

Service centres were set up in Hangzhou and Shaoxing, with a field team in Suzhou — our service radius now covers the main cities of the Yangtze River Delta.
